  11. There appears to be a bug in SPM version 8.0.4d11 (a pre-lease version) 
  12. that affects the Mac F2C installer.
  13.  
  14. This bug causes SPM to lock-up when the installer tells SPM to build the 
  15. Mac F2C test projects.  It's not 100% reproducible, but the problem 
  16. definitely lies with SPM.  
  17.  
  18. Hoefully, this will all be worked out by the time SPM v8.0.4 goes final.  
  19. If you want to use SPM v8.0.4 (pre-release) in the meantime, just use 
  20. these project files and the installer (as described in the documentation).

  22. Then if you get bitten by this bug (it's pretty obvious--the SPM project 
  23. window doesn't draw completely), just force-quit SPM and build the test 
  24. projects by hand.
